Description
At DMAG, we offer a wide range of stainless steel bearings for your selection. The common stainless steel materials that DMAG used are SUS440C, SUS304, SUS316L.
SUS440C is martensite stainless steel. Comparing with ordinary stainless-steel bearings, 304 or 316 stainless steel bearings are anti-rust and corrosion-resistant in aggressive environment to a higher degree. Operating in seawater, distilled water, dilute nitric acid, oceanic climate, steam and other corrosive mediums, they are able to work in an environment with temperature from -253 ℃ to 350 ℃. They are also non-magnetic comparing with 440C stainless steel. Especially, AISl316L can achieve non-magnetic completely.
However, not like 440C or 420 stainless steel (higher carbon chromium martensitic stainless steel), AISl316L and SUS304 stainless steel (austenitic stainless steel) cannot be quenched as whole due to its low hardness, bearings made out of AISl316L and SUS304 are not suitable for heavy load and high speed.
